Latvia’s second largest cable operator Izzi has announced that its focus for this year is on improving customer service.
The company, which faces strong competition from the market leader Baltcom and incumbent telco Lattelecom, plans to invest €10 million up to the end of this year on developing new infrastructure and upgrading its existing network.
This will result in it offering high speed internet, digital TV and telephony services to 170,000 households.
Although Izzi has already introduced such services as wireless home communication networks and an app for LG Smart TVs, it acknowledges that competition is making market players appreciate the importance of customer service.
