The leading Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV is expected to launch a HD package on April 1.
Quoting an unofficial source, Tele-Sat Info says the package, which will be available to owners of HD receivers, will initially consist of five channels.
Tricolor TV’s offer currently consists of a free, basic 10-channel package, Optimum package (R600/€15.05 a year), NTV Plus Nash Futbol (R598 for two months) and adult Nochnoy (R500 a year).
Viewers are also provided with a radio package and – in the case of those who already receive Optimum – the Super Optimum package, both free of charge.
Tricolor TV now has 10 million subscribers.
