Bjørgulf Bjørgulfsson has joined Norwegian DTT platform Norges Televisjon in the combined role of CFO and head of network distribution.
The Icelander had previously worked at Canal Digital as commercial director within the organisation’s technology division, where he was responsible for partner management, sourcing and logistics.
Norges Televisjon (NTV) is Norway’s DTT licence holder and serves both the public broadcaster NRK and the pay-TV operator Riks TV.
Bjørgulfsson started at the Nethold-owned MultiChoice in 1994, spending the first seven years as CFO, before it emerged as Canal Digital.
Prior to this Bjørgulfsson had been a financial manager at cable company Norkabel, the network now known as GET.
