Samsung has entered into a partnership with Central European Media Enterprises (CME). Under it, the latter’s transactional and subscription VOD service Voyo will become available on Samsung Smart TVs.
CME launched Voyo in the Czech Republic early last year and it was subsequently rolled out in the five other markets in CEE – Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia – in which the company has a presence.
This year viewers in all these markets will be able to watch CME channels on Samsung Smart Hub.
The Voyo app is expected to launch in the second quarter.
