The Russian cable operator ER Telecom now has a total of four million subscribers to its services.
Of these, 1.94 million opt for broadband internet access, 1.78 analogue or digital TV and 0.28 million telephony.
In a statement, the company says it became a leader in the provision of cable TV services in H1 2011.
At the same time, it became one of the top three providers of broadband internet services in Russia.
Its subscriber total increased by over 1.2 million, or 44%, in 2011 thanks largely to organic growth, establishing a presence in 15 more cities and introducing packages, which are now chosen by 80% of its subscribers.
ER Telecom was established in 2004 and currently has a presence in 42 Russian cities. It wholly owns a FTTH network offering internet access at speeds of up 100 Mbps.
