The Russian telco Transtelecom (TTK) is preparing to launch TV services this spring in several parts of the country.
Quoted by EWDN and RAI Novosti, its president Artem Kudryavstsev said it would offer analogue or digital cable services, depending on the region, and also at a future date introduce IPTV.
In the latter case, it is organising a tender this spring to purchase a platform.
It is also looking into the possibility of offering OTT services.
TTK is a subsidiary of Russian Railways and already provides broadband services in 94 Russian cities.
