Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has entered into a partnership with the Polish catch-up TV service ipla.
As a result, all platforms (PCs, tablets, smartphones, connected TVs and games consoles) that carry ipla will give viewers access to the most popular productions from MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon on an on demand basis.
Ipla is operated by Redefine, a subsidiary of Telewizja Polsat, and already provides viewers linear TV services, live HD transmissions and access to tens of thousands of clips from series, TV programmes and major sporting events.
Its offer includes content from over a dozen Polish and international TV channels, as well as four proprietary thematic channels.
VIMN meanwhile currently distributes a total of 12 channels in Poland.
