Modern Times Group (MTG) has appointed Patrick Svensk as VP of content MTG and chairman of MTG’s Modern Studios business.
Svensk was the founder and CEO of the Zodiak Television group of TV production companies, which became Zodiak Media Group and is a leading international TV production company.
He previously served as CEO of MTG’s TV3 Sweden channel and CEO of Swedish TV channel Kanal 5.
Modern Studios comprises of all the group’s content production business, including Strix Television, and operates internationally to sell formats around the world.
Calle Jansson will remain in his role as president of Strix Television.
