Poland’s second largest cable operator Vectra has begun to offer its broadband internet service Flashnet via the Xbox 360 for a nominal fee of only PLN1 (€0.24).
It is being made available to subscribers who already receive Flashnet at speeds of 8 Mbps or higher, initially in the cities of Warsaw, Starachowice, Olsztyn and Ostroleka and on the rest of Vectra’s network throughout Poland from September.
Flashnet allows internet access of up to 128 Mbps.
Vectra also plans to shortly introduce mobile internet access via netbooks for a nominal fee of PLN1.
