As part of their strategic agreement for the distribution of applications, the TF1 Group and Samsung Electronics France have launched a new service making the TF1 Vision preview service available on Samsung Smart TV.
TF1 already has anumber of applications running on Samsung, including TV Grille, Meteo (weather forecast), TF1 News, Eurosport and Evénements (events).
TF1 Visio provides access to preview a selection of movies and TV programmes before the actual broadcast or cinema release. Viewers can rent each title for a period of 48 hours. Both US TV series and French programmes are available – US series the day after their screening in the States. Box office hits are available within the VOD window.
The TF1 applications for Samsung TV sets were first shown at the MIPTV 2010, last year in Cannes.
