Jill Grinda appointed as CASBAA VP

May 11, 2011 07.22 Europe/London By Robert Briel

CASBAA has announced the appointment of Jill Grinda as VP, operations based in Hong Kong.

Reporting to CEO Simon Twiston Davies, Ms Grinda is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Association, including oversight of finance and human resources as well as supervising the events and communications teams. With oversight of the CASBAA committees and issues group, Ms Grinda will also promote new revenue opportunities and relationships with CASBAA partners.

“Jill brings a wealth of market experience that will prove invaluable to the continued growth and evolution of CASBAA, reinforcing the Association as the preeminent multi-channel channel television representative body in Asia,” said Twiston Davies in a statement.

Prior to joining CASBAA, Ms Grinda was worldwide distribution director for Euronews, and previously held distribution and marketing positions with Al Jazeera English, CNBC, Bloomberg Television, American Express International and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

“I am delighted to join the CASBAA team, which plays such an important regional role in the industry,” added Ms Grinda.
