With less than three weeks to go to this year’s ANGA Cable in Cologne, Germany (May 3 – 5, 2011) the organisers are describing the event as “the largest, most beautiful and most innovative ANGA Cable ever.”
Floor space has increased by 15% as 420 exhibitors from more than 35 countries prepare to show off their wares.
”This year, we offer more than ever a special variety of up-to-the-minute topics interesting for network operators as well as for vendors and content providers,” said ANGA managing director Peter Charissé. “ANGA Cable Show offers the perfect mixture for all visitors who want to experience what hybrid TV really means.”
The 11 strategy panels will deal with, among others, the topics Next Generation Networks, Open Access, analogue switch off, hybrid TV, interactive television, 3D-TV, pay-TV, video on demand, and the smart home. A further ten technology panels will cover DOCSIS 3.0, FTTH business models, Over-the-Top-TV, RF over Glass, Next Generation Headends, IP services, and upgrade scenarios for analogue satellite switch off.
