The Belgian male skewed youth channel Gunk TV will stop broadcasting on March 31. The channel, which is operated by T.Vgas, a wholly owned subsidiary of cabler Telenet, was not able to generate enough income to be viable.
Gunk TV is exclusively available on the Telenet network as a digital channel. The nine people working at the channel will be offered a job at the Telenet parent company.
Gunk TV was not just a TV channel, but also includes the gaming website 9Lives and the printed monthly Gunk Magazine. Both the site and the magazine will continue and be fully integrated in the Telenet organisation.
