The Russian DTH platform NTV-Plus is partnering with SmartLabs to provide IPTV in broadband networks.
The two parties have created a joint solution named NTV-Plus + Smartlabs IPTV that gives broadband operators access to all the 130+ SD and HD channels offered by NTV-Plus.
Significantly, they will not have to interact with rights holders, thereby making the process of launching an IPTV service much simpler.
Furthermore, as NTV-Plus + Smartlabs IPTV has a modular architecture, its deployment and launch will not involve considerable expenses.
NTV-Plus + Smartlabs IPTV is also flexible, allowing for interactive services and the addition of more channels to the IPTV offer.
SmartLabs is Russia’s leading developer of interactive TV solutions, while NTV-Plus is the longest-established DTH platform in the country, having made its debut in 1996.
