The cable industry continued to grow steadily in Ukraine last year, with operators’ revenues amounting to UAH1.9 billion (€173.7 million).
According to the findings of a report produced by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine and published by AKTR and proIT, this represented an increase of 5.7% on the previous year.
More than UAH1.3 billion of the total was accounted for by providing services to the public, or 6.6% more than in 2009.
Cable TV revenues specifically amounted to UAH1.329 billion, a 5.7% increase on the UAH1.284 billion recorded in 2009.
