MTV Networks France has announced the launch of four promotional MTV channels (MTV, MTV Pulse, MTV Base, MTV Idol), Game One (Game One, Game One Music HD) and Nickelodeon (Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon Junior) on Philips Net TV from today, Wednesday, January 12.
With the new service, viewers will have access to video content from the various channels, such as programme excerpts or new trailers.
The portal will also allow viewers connected to find all the information required to subscribe to the various channels of the group on satellite, cable, IPTV and mobile TV.
These connected television portals are primarily intended to showcase the content of the group’s channels. They are also available on the PC on MSN and Dailymotion. MTV Networks France is positioning all its channels as a premium, paid-for product and is using ‘free samples’ of its programming as a promotional tool.
