KIT digital has secured a contract to provide streaming services to the Czech national public broadcaster CT.
According to E15, it beat off competition from O2 in a deal worth CZK12 million (€475,270), excluding VAT, that will come into effect at the beginning of 2011.
CT is planning to create an internet-based service that will in effect become its fifth TV channel. It is also working in the connected TV area with Samsung.
Separately, KIT digital has announced an agreement with Getty Images that will see the latter use the company’s VX-one platform.
Kit digital is a leading provider of video asset management solutions (VAMS) for multi-screen IP-based delivery.
