A new national digital TV channel will launch in the Czech Republic in spring 2011.
According to Digizone, TV Pohoda will target children and young viewers and be distributed by the third DTT multiplex, operated by the Czech Digital Group (CDG), which has just been acquired by Ceske Radiokomunikace.
TV Pohoda is owned by the Ostrava-based businessman Radim Parizek and was one of six companies granted digital licences in April 2006.
These were subsequently withdrawn and then subsequently re-instated.
