Lovefilm has inked a major content deal with the leading independent distributor Momentum Pictures. As a result, its members will be able to watch a catalogue of titles online and via internet-enabled devices exclusively through the Lovefilm Player.
The deal will allow Lovefilm to boost its digital streaming offering with a selection of top titles never seen before on any subscription or TV movie service before. New titles will be exclusive to Lovefilm for one year and include 30 brand new titles available to watch as part of members’ subscriptions, as well as further titles from Momentum Pictures’ back catalogue.
Lovefilm is a European film subscription service, giving customers access to over 867,000 titles, including HD/Blu-ray DVDs, video game sand digital streaming.
Momentum Pictures is meanwhile a subsidiary of Alliance Pictures.
