ACC CONVENTION – BUCHAREST. The Romanian version of Zone Romantica has undergone a change of ownership.
Speaking to Broadband TV News, sources at Chello said that the company became the sole owner of the channel last week, when it bought the 49% stake previously held by the media group Realitatea.
The Romanian version of Zone Romantica made its debut in 2007 as a 51/49 joint venture between (what was then) Chello Zone and Realitatea.
The Romanian version of Zone Romantica is one of 13 channels distributed by Chello Central Europe, a business unit of Chellomedia, Liberty Global’s international content division.
