Former TV regulator Helena Brewer has joined Canis Media, where she will head the Broadcast Services Division of the channel management company.
Brewer, who spent three years at Ofcom and its predecessor the ITC, will be responsible for key accounts and will manage the technical channel services team.
“Helena brings a wealth of experience to Canis having worked in the broadcast industry for 12 years,” said Ed Hall, chief executive, Canis Media. “We have crossed paths before and I am thrilled that she has joined the company.”
Specialising in broadcast compliance and licensing, Brewer has also worked for Red Bee Media and Inview TV.
Canis Media Ventures Limited was established in 2001 and is the UK’s largest broker of Sky EPGs and advises on all areas of channel distribution on multiple platforms.
