Netgem has confirmed it is interested in purchasing Pirelli Broadband Solutions, following speculation around the financial markets.
In a short statement, the Paris-based digital technology firm said it was evaluating an acquisition as part of non-exclusive discussions with owner Pirelli & C.
Pirelli Broadband Solutions specialises in products and platforms for the broadband connected homes and offices. Its business covers residential access gateways, hybrid IPTV set-top boxes , remote management and embedded middlewares.
