Award winners find promo CAP fits

September 23, 2010 19.30 Europe/London By Julian Clover

CTAM EUROSUMMIT ’10 – BUDAPEST. CTAM Europe has announced the winners of its annual Creative Awards Programme (CAP) with UPC Austria, Telenet and ZON all taking home prizes.

UPC Austria waltzed off with Gold in Brand Image and Positioning for its ‘Fiberpower on your PC campaign’. In Acquisition or Retention Marketing it was Telenet that took Gold for its digital TV campaign ‘Pause’. The launch of ZON’s new broadband service Fibra was enough for the New Product or Service Launch, while Chellomedia stole both Gold and Silver in Brand Image and Positioning. HBO Central Europe repeated the feat in Acquisition or Retention Marketing.

Ligia Silva, communications director at Zon in Portugal said  “We were very pleased to receive the awards, we targeted our campaigns at young adults, young couples and families with young children, and we are proud to receive the recognition from the Creative Awards Program judges for the quality of the work we are doing in Portugal.”

Gabor Varga, Head of Creative Services at HBO Central Europe, added, “ To receive these awards from the CAP judging panel is a great honour, and reflects the creative ability and hard work of the on-air team at HBO Central Europe.”
