Viasat Broadcasting has entered into a licensing agreement with NBC Universal International Television Distribution for the exclusive basic cable TV rights in Hungary to a broad range of content.
Under it, the content, which will include feature films, drama series and mini series, will air on Viasat3 and TV6.
Among the films covered are The Bourne Supremacy, 2 Fast 2 Furious and Inside Man, while the TV titles include medical dramas such as House, MD and Royal Pains, as well as Warehouse 13.
Commenting on the agreement, Camilla Hammer, CEO of free-TV Hungary at Viasat Broadcasting, said: “NBC Universal has an impressive track record of creating massively popular movies and TV series which will further strengthen our programming schedule. Viasat’s TV channels are the home of entertainment and this deal entitles our viewers to unlimited access to recent big screen releases, established classic feature films and the latest high rating TV series.”
