Russia’s pay-TV market is likely to be worth $950 million (€733.7 million) this year, or $120 million more than in 2009, according to J’son & Partners Consulting.

Although the pay-TV subscriber total in Russia stood at 14.5 million in 2009 and was almost 21% higher than a year earlier, it was still equivalent to only just over 2% of the world’s total.
