Akado adds to offer

June 29, 2010 07.26 Europe/London By Chris Dziadul

The Russian cable operator Akado has announced that it will add four more channels, including one from Viasat, to its offer in July.

The channels in question are TV 1000 Action; Multimania, which offers cartoons and feature films and targets kids/young people; music-based Bridge TV; and the European movie channel Evrokino.

Akado provides triple play services, including over 200 digital channels, in Moscow and Moscow region.

As of the end of Q3 2009, it claimed 1 million analogue and 405,000 digital TV subscribers, as well as 650,000 using its broadband service.
