The Ariane launch V195 has been postponed, according to an announcement by Arianespace. Last night’s dual-payload Ariane 5 mission was carrying the Arabsat-5A and COMS satellites, and the heavy-lift Ariane 5 ECA and its two payloads remain in a safe mode on the Spaceport’s launch pad in French Guiana.
Arianespace said in an announcement that a launcher subsystem anomaly occurred during the final countdown. An investigation has been initiated to identify the anomaly’s cause.
A new launch date will be announced as soon as possible.
