The tender for the privatisation of the Serbian incumbent telco Telekom Srbije is likely to be announced this summer, according to Jasna Matic, the country’s minister of telecommunications.
Quoted in Limun, she added that strategic investors and big telcos will be invited to participate in the tender, in which it is expect up to 40% of the company could be sold.
Deutsche Telekom, which already has a strong presence in South East Europe, has been strongly linked with Telekom Srbije in recent weeks.
