AirTies has appointed Jim Lomax as its executive vice president of sales & marketing. The digital TV veteran has 15 years experience in the consumer electronics market that includes spells with Grundig and Pace Micro Technology. Most recently, Lomax was executive VP, worldwide sales and marketing at Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB).
Lomax said it was an exciting time to be joining AirTies, a company best known for wireless internet and IPTV products. “As consumers look for more innovative ways to quickly set up and securely provision wireless home networks, more and more are turning to those specialist companies, such as AirTies, who are able to offer solutions and devices which meet their criteria of simple deployment and minimal external expertise.”
AirTies was formed in February 2004 by a management and technical team from the Silicon Valley. It has an installed base of 4 million products worldwide.
