Canal+ has provided further details of what will be the first 3D transmission in Poland.
It will take place on May 15 and feature one of three matches from the Ekstraklasa football league being played on that date in Poznan, Kraków and Warsaw.
Public showings of the match will be organised with LG Electronics and Eutelsat in several cities throughout the country. However, the screening will also be accessible to individual Cyfra+ viewers with a HD receiver and 3D TV set.
Canal+ is coproducing a 3D movie named Projekt Chopin and aired what was Poland’s first 3D commercial in cinemas late last year.
