Penthouse has said it will launch Penthouse HD on the Eutelsat KabelKiosk digital headend-in-the sky, extending its coverage in German digital cable networks.
Penthouse HD is distributed in cooperation with Penthouse’s technical partner General Satellite via Eutelsat satellite Eurobird 9 at 9 degrees East in full native HD. With regard to targeting the majority of German platforms including cable, satellite, IPTV and hotels, Penthouse anticipates to finalise further distribution carriage agreements by the end of 2010. Subscription to Penthouse HD via KabelKiosk is offered as a single channel at an initial price of €7.99 per month or in combination with further HD pay-TV packages at €4.90 per month.
