Ukraine will see the launch of a new DTH platform this November. According to Satkurier, it will be known as Digital Fly Ukraine and operated by Kesongs Enterprises. Subscribers will be offered a basic 25-channel package for $9 (€6.3) a month, an additional 7-9 thematic channels for $3-6 and a full package of 80 channels for around $22.
The service will employ MPEG-4 HD PVRs with 500 GB hard disks and offer such additional services as VOD and PPV.
It will use NDS conditional access and be distributed by Thor at 1 degree West.
