Just as in the Czech Republic, UPC has this week become the provider of the fastest broadband internet service in neighbouring Slovakia.
Employing DOCSIS 3.0 technology, UPC Fibre Power 120 is offering access speeds of up to 120Mbps for a monthly fee of €40.
Another new product – UPC Fibre Power 60 – offers access speeds of up to 60Mbps for €30 a month.
Both products are initially being made available to all UPC subscribers in Kosice and the capital, Bratislava.
