The Hungarian national commercial station TV2 has filed a lawsuit to protest a 12-hour blackout that has been imposed on it by the National Radio and Television Board (ORTT).
BBJ reports that the punishment, which is similar to one recently imposed on the rival station RTL Klub, was initially meant to be just a fine but has since been upgraded by the regulator.
Both stations transmitted programmes in the afternoon that were deemed to be damaging to minors.
