Accedo Broadband has launched a portfolio of games on the Portuguese IPTV service MEO.
Two gaming services have so far been launched; the first targeting kids and the second aimed at a general audience. It is intended that new games will be added regularly, depending on popularity and user interest.
“Accedo’s portfolio of casual IPTV games is impressive and we are happy to work with them as an IPTV gaming partner,” said Vera Pinto Pereira, director of TV services at Portugal Telecom. “We believe that casual games on IPTV will drive loyalty among our users.”
Accedo’s IPTV gaming services currently reach more than four million households in 25 countries.
