SES Astra hopes to shortly boost the take-up of its Astra2Connect service in Poland.
Quoting Astra’s CEE project coordinator Marcin Deka, Wirtualne Media says that the company is currently engaged in talks with a prospective new partner in Poland.
Astra2Connect, which offers a satellite-delivered internet access service, was launched in April 2007 and currently has around 40,000 users throughout Europe, of whom only around 1,000 are in Poland.
Astra2Connect’s partner in the country is Euro Marketing.
