Minor amendments have been made to the draft version of Hungary’s new media law.
Népszabadság reports that if approved by the main opposition party Fidesz by next week, the draft will be submitted to parliament.
The amendments are understood to address the make-up of bodies overseeing public broadcasting in Hungary, amid fears that they will be too influenced politically.
