Problems appear to be mounting at RCS/RDS, the operator of both Romania’s largest cable network and DTH platform.
ZF reports that a number of leading executives have left the company in recent months, some of them to work at rival companies such as UPC and Romtelecom.
These have recently restructured their businesses and now pose far greater threats to RCS/RDS than previously.
The latest person to leave RCS/RDS is Ovidiu Ghiman, one of the 15 most important people in the company, who has joined Romtelecom.
RCS/RDS has also just suffered a blow in neighbouring Hungary, where it was competing for the fourth mobile licence, the tender for which has been cancelled.
