The Polish MSO Vectra has extended its digital cable service to three more locations.
According to Wirtualne Media, it can now also be received in the towns of Biala Podlaska, Pila and Starachowice.
Although UPC has recently made all the headlines with its digital cable service – it made its debut in May and is expected by Broadband TV News to have at least 30,000 subscribers in Q3 results to be published shortly by Liberty Global – Vectra has until now claimed the lion’s share of digital cable customers in Poland.
They are currently understood to number around 150,000, while Aster, another of Poland’s leading operators, has in the region of 60,000.
