The sale of the Polish entertainment-based cable and satellite channel Superstacja looks increasingly in doubt.
According to local reports, Ster, its joint owner and itself closely linked to Polsat, has had second thoughts about selling a 33% stake in the channel to the Polish media group Agora for a reported PLN20 million (€5.26 million).
Apparently Polsat fears that Agora would transform Superstacja into a service competing with its channel Polsat News.
