The Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has tripled its subscriber total in the first 10 months of this year.
According to Satkurier, the service is now received in 3 million homes, as opposed to one million in January.
Tricolor TV is distributed by Eutelsat W4 at 36 degrees East. Its basic and ‘bonus’ services consist of 13 and 7 channels respectively, and can by supplemented by four additional packages (Optimum, Kaleidoscope, Kinozal and Nochnoy), each costing between R400-600 (€11.6-17.4) a year to receive.
