Pace has appointed Mathias Hautefort as the new President of Pace France. He will be based at the company’s French headquarters at Suresnes, Paris, heading the division created following the acquisition of Philips’ set-top box division.
Hautefort joins from gaming company Atari, where he was executive vice president for worldwide distribution and operations. He is a former CEO of Viaccess and has also been chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Noos, the French cablenet now a part of Numericable.
“Mathias has a wealth of experience of working in new fields of technology development, in particular the IPTV market. His familiarity with operators such as the Canal+ Group, UPC, France Telecom and Numericable means he already has an inherent understanding of the business and our customers’ needs,” said Pace CEO Neil Gaydon.
Hautefort will report to Gaydon and takes up his post in November.
