The leading Estonian MSO Starman has seen a change of ownership.
According to local reports, Baltic Moontech Investments has increased its stake in the company to 71.7% by buying up shares previously held by the local entrepreneurs Peeter Kern and Indrek Kuivallik for a total of EEK80 million (€5.1 million).
However, Kern and Kuivallik retain respective stakes 15.9% and 10.3% in Starman.
Significantly, the transaction was undertaken outside the stock exchange, leading to the belief that the company will soon be de-listed.
Besides being the largest cable operator in Estonia, Starman has a controlling stake in the country’s DTT platform ZUUMtv.
