The new Slovak channel Joj Plus has made its official debut. A sister service of TV Joj, it is on air for 24 hours daily and distributed by cable and satellite.
Joj Plus is allocating 80% of its airtime to mostly classic movies and series, with the remainder given over to documentaries and in-house productions.
It aims to eventually have the same audience share as news-based TA3, which claimed, according to data published by the public broadcaster STV, 1.7% of viewers in the week September 8-14.
TV Joj had an audience share of 17.9% in the same period.
