The transition to digital broadcasting has taken another important step in the Czech Republic.
According to Parabola, the national public broadcaster CT has switched on DTT transmitters in Prague-Cukrak and Ceske Budejovice-Klet, employing frequencies previously reserved for the analogue version of its second national channel CT2 up until the end of September.
They are now being used to distribute all four of its channels (CT1, CT2, CT4 Sport and CT24), along with the public broadcaster CRO’s radio stations.
