Fashion TV will make its debut in the Czech Republic and Slovakia next January.
HN reports that the exclusive licence to distribute the channel, across several media including the internet, has been secured by a company named Carolinas Corporation.
It also says that Fashion TV will work with the entrepreneur Eric Assimakopoulos, who owns the licence for Fashion TV in cafes and bars, to develop the brand in the two countries.
Fashion TV made its debut in 1997 and claims to be one of the four most distributed channels worldwide (top three outside the US).
In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, 70% of the service’s output will be international and 30% produced in house.
