Chellomedia will add the new Film1 Action premium movie channel to its offer for Dutch viewers on October 1. As reported in Broadband TV News the package of five channels will now cost €14.95 a month, an increase of two Euros.
Chellomedia has also launched a second sports channel, Sport1.2, also previously reported in Broadband TV News.
Film1 Action is available to all Film1 subscribers who receive the channel from the respective cable operators UPC, Ziggo, Delta, CAIW and Kabel Noord or Tele2’s IPTV service, but not on the DTH platform Canal Digitaal.
The Film1 channel portfolio now includes Film1.1, Film1+1, Film1.2, Film1.3, Film1 Action, Film1HD plus the Film1 On Demand subscription VOD service, which is so far only available to UPC cable subscribers in the Netherlands.
Sport1.2 enables subscribers to have a concurrent choice of two different sports programs, with football being a key feature. The other six Sport1 Extra channels will be utilised for live events, should the range of sports exceed the capacity of the two channels.
