The Belgian DTH platform TV Vlaanderen has announced that it has reached 70,000 subscribers. MD Kurt Pauwels expects it to grow even further when, on November 30, all analogue broadcasts in the Dutch speaking part of the country are switched off.
The operator plans to introduce an HD PVR before the Christmas sales season. Also on the cards is the launch of the French language platform Tele-Satellite for French speaking Belgium. The company has not yet announced a launch date, but hopes to start before year end.
