Lesley Mackenzie has been appointed CEO of the internet TV venture Nettv247.com. Founded by former Sky executive and Top Up TV founder Ian West, the first project 123webtv.com has been running as a live beta for the past month.
Most recently Mackenzie was the interim CEO at Kangaroo. She previously worked for News Corp at Tata Sky on India and BSkyB in the UK, where she was director of channels and operations. “I have been very excited by the internet TV market and can see its huge potential over the next few years,” Mackenzie said in a statement.
Mackenzie has also purchased a stake in the business for an undisclosed sum.
