The German cable operator Kabel Deutschland KDG has signed a distribution agreement with public broadcasters ARD, ZDF, Deutschlandradio and Arte to continue distribution of the channels until 2012 in both analogue and digital.
The deal encompasses all TV and radio channels from the four broadcasters and guarantees analogue distribution of the main channels, as well as unencrypted distribution of the digital channels on the KDG networks.
